[Class 64 (ii).] A valve placed in the conduit from the water jacket to the cooling radiator of a motorvehicle and adapted to divert the warm water through heating devices in the interior of the vehicle comprises a cylindrical casing a having ports a3, a<4> at one end communicating with the flow and return pipes d, d<1> of the heating devices, and passages a<1>, a<2> communicating respectively with the engine jacket and the cooling radiator. A rotary valve member has ports all, a<12> in one end disc a<9> adapted to register with the casing ports a3, a4 and a wing member a<5> provided with an aperture a<13> permitting partial flow to the cooling radiator when the heating devices are in circuit.
