492,287. Ventilating vehicles. SLEIGH, H. L., CHESTON, A. S., and BRINKWORTH, H. A. March 17, 1937, Nos. 7808, 21084, and 28031. [Class 137] [Also in Group XIII] A fitting for distributing, within a motor vehicle, air which has been warmed by passing it over the exhaust pipe, comprises a tube 52 with inlet 38 and outlets 54, each end being fitted with a control valve 56 having openings 57, 58, 59. An additional inlet pipe may supply cold air to the tube 52. Other air-outlet fittings provided with a single rotary sleeve valve and a sliding disc valve are described.
