Abstract

371,006. Heating apparatus associated with motor system. OTWELL, R. B., 17005, Fullerton Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Dec. 10, 1930, No. 37280. [Class 79 (iii).] Motor vehicles are warmed by air heated in a duct G<1>, Figs. 2 and 3, arranged between exhaust gas chambers connected at their ends by ducts K, K<1>, the lower of which communicates with the engine cylinders and a discharge duct. The air is forced into the duct G<1> by a fan D and passes into a flexible pipe H having a two-way valve I which directs the air either into the vehicle or the bonnet.
