345,720. Stays and fastenings. GRAY, C., 12, Tasker Street, Walsall. Jan. 17, 1930, No. 1632. [Classes 44 and 65 (i).] An engaging device for a stay of the pin - and - hole type consists of a hook B pivoted to a fixed bracket A through which the stay C passes ; in the engaging position, the end of the hook passes through one of the holes in the stay and enters a hole in the base of the bracket A. The stay is pivoted to a lug F on the attachment plate D on the window, and this lug has a slot with which the hook engages to fasten the window in the closed position. The free end of the stay is shaped so that it cannot pass through the bracket A.
