Abstract
342,490. Vehicle fittings ; slings. DREWRY, J. S., Kingston, Willian Way, and SHELVOKE & DREWRY, Ltd., Icknield Way, both in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Jan. 4,1930, No. 366. [Class 78 (iv).] A vehicle is provided with a removable load platform with means for detachably connecting thereto bins or containers and means are provided for removing the platform and inverting it to empty the bins. As shown, the platform D is provided with retaining strips C for the flanges B of the bins A, hinged retaining boards E being provided. A sling G is provided for raising the platform and a rope &c. I for tipping or inverting it. The ends of the platform are preferably of greater height than the containers so that a similar platform or platforms may rest thereon.
