Abstract
401,743. Removable bodies for vehicles. UTILE, M. M. J. LEFEVRE-, 61, Boulevard Richard Lenoir, Paris. March 31, 1933, No. 9813. Convention date, May 21, 1932. [Class 108 (i).] A transport container comprises a metallic frame to withstand the handling stresses which frame consists of upright members placed interiorly of the sides of the container, provided with suspension hooks &c. and suitably braced by transverse and inclined members. The framework comprises two transverse members 3 which support longitudinals 4 connected at their ends by transverse members 5 and to uprights 8 by gussets 7. The uprights 8 are provided with rings &c. 11 to which the hoisting chains may be attached and connected by members 9 and braces 10. The container is provided on each side of a central passage with compartments 12 in which may be housed the load, preferably boxes and two-part shelves 13 are arranged to span the passage when and where desired. A door 17 is provided in the passage to shut off a part of the container and end doors are provided. The walls of the container comprise inner and outer panels spaced apart and lined on their interior or adjacent surfaces wit heath insulating material.
