To facilitate loading and unloading, a stillage may be supported on the horizontal portion of a cradle 10 which has a hooked portion 11 by which the cradle is suspended from the side of a railway wagon and adjustable members 12 which abut the side of the wagon. Feet 14 are provided to enable the cradle to be lifted by a fork-lift truck.
