A vehicle has a loading platform 1 with a loading ramp 2 pivoted thereto. The position of the pivot-pin 3 is such that the ramp is biased into the position shown wherein the portion 4 acts as a stop to prevent goods falling from the platform. As the platform is lowered, the ramp 2 engages the ground and aids loading the platform. Specification 940,877 is referred to.
