Abstract

1,269,951. Loading ramps. P. C. & C. K. CHASE Ltd. 19 Aug., 1969 [23 May, 1968], No. 24712/68. Heading B8H. A ramp, especially for facilitating the entry of a fork lift truck (not shown) into a container C, from the ground D, comprises a centre section 10 with a front flap section 11 and a rear flap section 12 hinged thereto. The centre section 10 stands on legs 16, 17 which, when the front flap section 11 is folded over the centre section 10 enable the fork of a fork lift truck to be inserted from the front for movement of the ramp to a further container. Both the flap sections 11, 12 are divided into two sections separately hinged to the centre section 10.
