Abstract

Addition to 300,511, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.]. [Class 40 (v).] In a cascade resistance coupled amplifier in which the anode of one stage is directly coupled to the grid of the next stage as described in the parent Specification, the anode, grid bissing and filament heating voltages are supplied by transformer windings a .. f without rectification. The Figure shows an arrangement for operating a relay r in which the phase of the controlling effect is reversed by interchanging the functions of anode and cathode in the first stage. The phases of the supply currents are as shown but if a large shunt condenser is connected across grid leak w the anodes may be alternately positive.
