[Class 39 (iii).] Apparatus for blowing hot air upon uneven parts of boots and shoes comprises a fan 7 delivering air to a flexible duct 5 at the end of which is a pistol provided with a nozzle. Before emerging from the nozzle the air is heated by an electric resistance 2 supported on a rod 4 carried by a removable cap 3, the resistance being surrounded by a casing 41 dividing the interior of the pistol into a heating chamber and a pre-heating chamber for the air. In a modification, the guide may be fixedly secured to a bench and the pistol hung from a cord.
