387,959. Drying-cabinets. BRITISH THERMOSTAT CO., Ltd., Windmill Road, Sunbury, Middlesex, and PAYNE, M., 50, Hook Road, Surbiton, Surrey. Sept. 15, 1932, No. 25716. [Class 34 (i).] Outlets for the escape of moisture-laden air are provided near the base of a drying-cabinet, and the air inlet is a tube projecting through the base of the cabinet, a heating element being disposed in or near the tube, so that an upward stream of heated air is injected into the chamber. In the form illustrated, the cabinet has a door 2 and supports 3 for the articles to be dried. The inlet tube 5 contains an electric heating element 4 so controlled by the thermostat 9 as to maintain a uniform temperature in the ascending air stream. The scoops 8 through which the used air passes to the outlets 7 may be adjusted to allow recirculation of part of the air.
