Abstract

225,059. Bailey & Woodward, Ltd., and Bailey, B. M. Nov. 23, 1923. Drying in the open; suspending devices.-Garments are dried by inflation with hot air so as to obviate the usual subsequent ironing operation. The garments are suspended from nozzles 11 connected by bayonet joints to damper-controlled pipes 10 connected to a hot air main 9. A fan 4 forces air over the steam coil 6 and through the pipe 5 to the main. The sleeves and legs of the garments are closed by clips 14.
