Abstract

299,631. Reeps, C. O. Dec. 9, 1927. Drying and airing clothes.-The air supplied to the interior of the hollow perforated forms 16 for drying stockings, socks, &c. is heated by steam elements within the forms, each element consisting of concentric live and exhaust steam pipes 37, 34. The bottom of each form is closed by three plates 19, 20, 21 between which are the live steam and exhaust steam chambers 26, 25 from which project the concentric open and closed ended pipes 37, 34 into the interior of the form. The flow of steam and air is controlled by cocks 29, 31, 46. The air blower is reversible.
