Abstract

277,523. Lamb, H. Oct. 30, 1926. Drying materials in long lengths.-The fabric is paassed in a sinuous course between rows of steam pipes P connected to horizontal headers H, H<1> which communicate with steam supply and exhaust mains respectively. The pipes are inclined downwardly from the header H to the headers H' and are joined to the headers by glands and stuffing-boxes disposed outside the edges of the fabric.
