318,728. Landis, H. G. Aug. 11, 1928. Stands combined with electric heating apparatus.-A portable electric heater adapted to stand on the floor of a room and to be used as a stand comprises a casing 3, having an imperforate top 20 and an open bottom and enclosing a fan rotated by an electric motor 1 to draw air over heating elements 13 and to discharge the heated air through narrow peripheral slots 9 in the casing adjacent the fan blades 8. The fan has an imperforate. top 7 so that a dead air space 21 is formed below the top 20 of the casing.
