Abstract
341,005. Liquid level indicators. HART, W. L., and FEROLITE Ltd., 2, Kirtling Street, Battersea Park Road, London. Oct. 7, 1929, No. 30364. [Class 123 (i).] Indicators actuated by pressure of head of liquid.-In a depth indicator of the pneumatic type, air is supplied by a pump 14 to a pipe 9 dipping into a tank 10, and the air pressure due to the head of liquid is indicated in a gauge tube 8 dipping into an indicating liquid x in an intermediate vessel 1. Horizontal partitions 5, 6 are each provided with a small opening so that the device acts as a baffle to prevent undue air pressure on the indicating liquid. A valve 16 is provided to maintain the vessel 1 at atmospheric pressure during filling of the tank.
