Tank wagons.-A cistern wagon for water &c. is fitted with a siphon device having a check valve V on the extremity of one arm A B dipping into a valve cap C secured to the outside of the bottom of the cistern, while a T-piece provided with a filling-cap E connects the arm A B to the other arm D F which leads into a transverse connecting tube M N provided with articulated tubes SO, S<1>O<1> to facilitate transference of the liquid.
