339,551. Robinson, F. G. Feb. 15, 1930. Addition to 239,442 and 291,713. Formed with means for retaining labels. - Movement of the indicating device 2 is prevented by passing a tongue or projection thereon through a hole formed in the lid, in place of the reverse arrangement described in the parent Specifications. In the form shown in Fig. 2 a tongue 3<x> is passed through a slit 6 formed in an off-set lip 7 projecting from the lid flange and turned down to lie against the inner wall of the lid. In Fig. 4 the tongue is turned outwardly to lie along the upper surface of a lip 7. In Fig. 6 the tongue is shown passed upwardly through an outer slit 6 in the lip and downwardly through an inner slit, but may be passed through so as to emerge upwardly from the second slit and be turned down against the wall of the lid as in Fig. 2. The tongue may be formed with a raised portion adapted to engage the side of the slit through which it is passed.
