336,046. Kelsey-Hayes Wheel Corporation, (Assignees of Booth, W. N.). Oct. 15, 1928, [Convention date]. Detachable wheels.-The hub-flange 8 of a detachable wheel is clamped to the flange 13 of the permanent hub 1 by bolts and coned nuts 14 by which cupped portions 15 of the flange 8 are forced into recesses 16 in the flange 13. The flange 8 is formed with a concentric rib 11 to abut the flange, 13, and between the bolt-holes the rib is formed with troughs 18 so that the metal adjacent the bolt-holes is flexed when the nuts are screwed home.
