Road - traffic signals on vehicles. - For manoeuvre-signalling on road vehicles a pointer 1 is arranged to be moved across a dial 2 by Bowden wires 6, cams 14 at the same time actuating pivoted levers 15 so as to move multicoloured screens 17 across illuminated apertures 20 in a casing 3, giving, for example, red lights on both sides for " stop," green or both sides when the pointer is out of sight, and red on the side to which the vehicle is about to turn, the other side being left green. The illumination of the signals, the rear light and number plate is provided by a lamp 18 co-operating with reflectors 19. Additional Bowden wires 32 actuated by the same handle may move an arrow located on the front mudguard and secured to a vertical spindle 25 which carries a slotted plate 29 adapted to be engaged by a pin 31 on a boss 30.
