331,116. Gander, A. June 1, 1929, [Convention date]. Supports attached to cycles; luggagecarriers; seat attachments. - A combined stand and luggagecarrier or seat for cvcles &c. comprises a pair of arms 3a, pivotally mounted on the ends of the rear wheel axle 3, and adjustably connected ,as by scraws 3<b>, to diverging arms 4, 4a supporting a platform or grid 4<c>, which is adapted either to engage the ground, or to form a luggage support or seat when the device is turned up to the position shown in dotted lines, the arms 3a being secured on the axle 3 by locknuts &c. which enable the device to be swung angularly or removed without loosening the vehicle wheel. The grid is removably attached to the arms 4, 4a by screws 5, and may be recessed to receive a cushion. The grid is provided with a pivoted hook 8 adapted to engage a ring on a clip 7 secured to the rear fork of thecycle.
