Wrapping materials. - A compound foil or sheet material for packing or wrapping purposes comprises a self-sustaining film of cellulose regenerated from aqueous cellulose solutions stuck by means of a water soluble adhesive to one or more sheets of the same or another material, such as paper, textile fabric, metal foil or ramie fabric. The preferred adhesive is gelatine or albumen. The cellulose foil may be coloured or may bear wording or designs. Cellulose foil may be applied to both sides of the other material, or alternate sheets of cellulose and fabric &c. may be superposed. Some or all of the sheets of cellulose and other material may be differently coloured. Specifications 304,722 and 309,019, [both in Class 140, Waterproof &c. fabrics], are referred to.
