Thermionic amplifiers.-A low frequency intervalve coupling comprises an anode impedance. such as resistance A', connected between the anode of the valve and its power supply and a direct connection from the anode of the valve to the primary winding of a transformer T<1> and a blocking condenser C<2> connected between the other end of the transformer primary and the filament circuit. A reaction coil may be interposed between the anode of the valve and the transformer primary or alternatively the blocking condenser may be of the adjustable differential type, Fig. 3, and be arranged to connect the transformer to the filament or through a reaction coil.
