Globe and reflector holders; securing globes and reflectors to holders.-The reflector, bowl, or globe 1 of a lighting fixture is supported in a canopy 3 by rigid V-shaped fingers 5 acted on by springs 6 so that one limb is pressed into contact with the canopy while the other limb passes through a slot 4 in the canopy and supports the reflector &c. by its outwardly-extending flange 2. To release the reflector the outer limbs of the fingers are pulled outwardly and downwardly until the inner limbs are free from the flange 2. The outer limbs may be ornamented. To prevent the flange of the reflector from becoming chipped it is surrounded by a metal beading 7 in the form of a split circular band the ends of which are secured together by a pin on one end engaging an aperture in the other. The beading may extend over the edge of the reflector, and chains 9 may be attached to the beading to support the reflector &c. in a lowered position. Specification 229,221 is referred to.
