Abstract

323,842. Gill, H. A., (Morris & Colpus, Ltd.). Oct. 29, 1928. Glazing structures. - A glazing bar for rooflights, skylights, and like openings is made from sheet metal bent to form a ridge, Fig. 1, and two edges 2 rolled to a convolute form on which the sheets of glass rest. An end stop, Fig. 3, and a support, Fig. 4, have webs 9, 17 protruding into the channel-shaped ridge, and the capping is bolted to the stems 10, 18. Drainage apertures 8 are provided in the end stop and the screw holes in the bases 5, 15 may be formed in bosses to prevent water draining through. The bar may be riveted to the support 17 through a hole 20 in the web.
