Abstract

331,442. Martini, M. M. Sept. 19, 1929. Roof gutters.-A guard for an eaves trough or gutter consists of a number of screen sections 12 bent on the longitudinal margins into open channels 14 bordered with sheet metal 15 and adapted to bear against the sides of the gutter. The ends of the sections are similarly edged, and one end is offset, as shown in Fig. 3. Angular sections are provided for the corners of the gutters. The sections are secured by bent wires 19, sprung over the gutter and formed with a central loop 20. The channels 14 and loop 20 permit the guard to fit gutters of various widths.
