Magnets.-A field magnet for a moving-coil loudspeaker consists of a permanent magnet having a central pole A1, and two or more circumferential poles A, and is fitted with pole pieces B, which form an annular pole gap C, the outer pole piece B being fixed with a bayonet joint.
