Abstract

315,638. Andersson, R. P. A. Oct. 16, 1928. Multiple-filament lamps. -The base or cap is provided with four contacts 3 - - 6, the two filaments being connected at one end to the contact 3 and at their other ends to the contacts 5, 6 respectively, and a filament selector 7 is pivoted to the contact 4 so that this can be connected by it to either or both of the contacts 5, 6. The two plungers of an ordinary lampholder engage with the contacts 3, 4. The bulb may be used in a holder of the kind having three plungers connected to a selector switch.
