Water - tube boilers. - A boiler having closed-ended tubes projecting radially from an annular water space is built up of a number of superposed rings 1 formed with inwardly projecting tubes 2, the rings, together with the surrounding shell 5 being held between end plates' 8, 9 by longitudinal bolts 13. The engaging surfaces of the rings may be flat or they may be formed with corresponding ribs and grooves.
