Fixed multiple-chamber apparatus.-In liquid delivery apparatus of the kind comprising one or more measuring chambers alternately filled and emptied under the control of a manually or automatically operated distributing valve, the delivery pipe has a chamber in which is a float 8, Fig. 1, mounted on a bell-crank lever 9; when the lever and float are in the position shown, a ball 14 carried bv the lever 9 is in position on a member 15 to prevent the displacement of a rod 16 connected to the cock 2 or its operating means. The position of the lever is also controlled by a hook 20 carried by a. diaphragm or piston acted on by the pressure in the supply pipe 4. Fig. 4 shows a two chamber apparatus having a distributing valve 2 automatically operated by a piston 28 and link mechanism 27.
