Abstract

309,791. Bischof, B. July 6, 1928. Force-feed lubricating; separating oil from gases. - In a rotary compressor, oil carried along by the compressed gases is deposited in a separator 4 containing a watercooled coil 15, from which it is returned under the pressure of the gases through a branched pipe 7 to the compressor 1 on both sides of the rotor of each stage, being led to the interior of the compressor through orifices in the end walls 2 covered by bushes 11 rotating with the shaft 10 and pressed outwards by springs 12 so as to regulate the delivery of the oil.
