Transparencies.-A transparent or translucent imperforate member bearing decorative or display matter is superposed in uniform close contact on a flat opaque member perforated along the outlines of, or over the whole or part of the area of, the design. The combination is viewed from either side by means of light passing through it from the other side. In the illustrrated form, the display matter is painted or printed on the surface of the member a attached to the front of the perforated screen b. Front and rear cover-plates d mav be used to protect the translucent sheet and perforated screen.
