307,141. British Dyestuffs Corporation. Ltd., Baddiley, J., and Chapman, E. Dec. 23, 1927. Right to Patent relin. quished. Cleansing-compositions for tiles, walls, stoneware, glass, metals, and painted and polished surfaces consist of aqueous solutions or pastes of the complex sulphonic acids, or their salts, referred to in Specification 284,367, and of nitrecake or other inorganic acid-cleansing agent. For example, 6 1b. of nitre-cake and 1 lb. of the sodium salts of the sulphonic acids prepared according to Specification 274,611 are mixed, and 1-1¢ lb. of the mixture is dissolved in 10 lb. of water. According to the Provisional Specification any acid cleansing agent may be mixed with the sulphonic acid or its salt.
