[Class 91] A degreasing or cleansing composition comprises a mixture of sulphonated castor oil, rosin oil and alkali, such as sodium, ortho-silicate. The composition may be used with or without dilution with water, and may be modified by the addition of acetic acid. The solution may be used at a temperature of 180‹ -200‹F.; in the cleaning of metal, it may be used either non- electrolytically or electrolytically. The composition may be used for washing clothes, cleaning floors, degreasing metals, &c.
