Screwed interengaging valves; casings. - 'A drainer valve for oil containers comprises a sleeve b secured in the tank wall a and having two internally - screwed portions separated by a recess h. The inner screwed portion carries a screwed plug valve e having a central axial passage g and lateral passages f terminating on its threaded surface ; the outer screwed portion carries a stop or capping plug c adapted to close upon a packing washer d. When the plug e is closed by screwing in, the washer d can be renewed without emptying the tank a. The stream of oil issuing through the plug is projected against the wall of the recess h and issues in a quiet manner from the sleeve b.
