Abstract

Rotary wet-separating apparatus.-An ore concentrator comprises a rotary cylindrical vessel a, adjustably inclined, and supplied with ore and water from a shoot h and with water from a pipe g. The concentrates are retained by annular baffles j and the vessel is stopped periodically to empty the concentrates through hand-holes k into a launder l. In a modification the concentrates are removed during rotation through passages n, Fig. 4, in rings m which surround the openings k.
