Abstract

832,672. Centrifugal separators. SEPARATOR A.B. June 17, 1958 [June 17, 1957], No. 19332/58. Class 23 In a centrifugal separator having a central chamber 16 for recirculated sludge, pipe pieces 19 have free ends projecting into the chamber and communicate with pipes 8 which discharge the recirculated sludge into the separating chamber adjacent the sludge discharge openings 1a. The pieces are mounted on a ring 18, and may be rotated to even out wear. The pipes 8 are secured within the separator in the manner described in Specification 707,208.
