Foot-arch supports.- An insole a for a boot or shoe is shaped to the natural shape of the sole of the foot to support the projecting parts such as the heel and cuboid bones, the ball of the foot, and the big toe. The insole is preferably also provided with side extensions f to support the foot under the cuboid bone. Such portion of the insole may be provided with a stiffening base h of leather or the like, and with a spring shank support i for further stiffening the shank and loosely guided at its ends in pockets k fixed on the base h.
