Vapour apparatus, arrangements of.-In a transformer-fed rectifier system of twelve or more phases in which star-connected secondary windings are divided into m symmetrical n-phase groups A - - D, harmonics due to the voltage difference between the rectified voltage of one group and that of the m groups are absorbed by connecting the star points of the groups to windings E - - H on a common interphase transformer J, these windings being connected in pairs to separate interphase transformers K, L whose neutral points are interconnected to form the main star point of the system.
