Abstract

Powder blowers.- In an apparatus operated by an air blower for distributing powdered material, the material h is fed into the air jet b produced by the blower a by a plunger - like feed member e also operated by the blower. The upper end of the plunger e carries a disc d actuated by a rubber sac c in communication with the blower and the lower end i of the plunger is helical and feeds a fixed quantity of the powder through the opening k at the bottom of the container g at each downward motion. A spring l restores the plunger to its normal position after each compression of the blower a and wire pins f &c. on the plunger loose the powder during the feeding movement.
