Moving-chamber apparatus for pulverulent materials. - The vertically movable valve d, Fig. 1, of an appliance for delivering powder in measured quantities, is connected by arms h, not in line with the valve, to a cross-piece i capable of vertical movement against a spring g. The cross-piece may be replaced, as shown in Fig 3, by a platform n resting on the arms h, a spring o intervening between the platform and detachable cover l; cover, spring, and platform may be secured together. In another form the spring is released by a weight.
