Steam regenerative accumulators.-Highly superheated steam from a boiler K is passed partly into the water space and partly into the steam space of a regenerative accumulator S, the excess heat of the steam passing into the steam space being used to dry and super. heat the regenerated steam. A valve G R operated in accordance with the pressure in the accumulator controls the proportion in which the steam passes into the steam and water spaces. The steam flows from the accumulator to the consumers through a reducing valve D M.
