Driving auxiliary parts, adapting vehicle driving-gear for.-A motor vehicle is fitted with a hoist comprising a luffing beam 1 mounted on a rotatable casing 80, Figs. 1, 3, and carrying a lifting trolley 2, or the beam and trolley may be replaced by a lazy-tongs structure with load hook at the outer end. Hoisting, luffing, slueing, and traversing the trolley 2 or extending the lazy-tongs beam are effected by a shaft 97 driven in either direction by worm gear 14, 88 from the vehicle motor.
