Driving auxiliary parts, adapting vehicle driving-gear for.-In a slueing jib crane with hoisting drum driven from the engine of the vehicle, the drum 6 is mounted above the bend formed by the vertical portion A of the slueing part and its jib arm 1, so that the slueing axis intersects the axis of the drum at right angles. The drum is driven by gearing 8, 9 from a vertical shaft 10 in the slueing axis. The shaft 10 is driven from the engine shaft by gearing 12, 13 and a countershaft 14 provided with flexible couplings 15 and a clutch 20. The crane may be movable longitudinally on the vehicle, the worm 13 being adjustable on the countershaft.
