Abstract

298,834. Barrett, B. E. Feb. 6, 1928. Couplings.-A coupling for connecting either of two conductors 10 to a stud 5 comprises an insulating block 3 carrying spade terminals 1 to which the conductors 10 are connected. The block 3 is formed with a slot 4 with which the stud 5 engages as shown in Fig. 2. The block can be moved longitudinally to bring the stud into contact with either of the terminals 1 or to break contact with both. The block can be clamped in any position by a nut 6. In a modification the block is provided with only one ter. minal and in a further modification four terminals are provided, the block having two slots at right angles to one another.
