Pianoforte pedals.-In a horizontal playerpiano in which the pneumatic action is mounted in a drawer below the key bed, the pedal lyre is mounted on the drawer and the pedals are con. nected to the usual damper lifting and bey-shifting mechanism through a pair of #-shaped levers 53 and push-rods 56 which register with plungers 58 when the drawer is pushed back.
