Door stops.-A stop or check for door of motor road and other vehicles comprises a wedge-shaped member 21 composed of rubber or other yieldable material adapted to engage directly with a flanged plate 24 formed with a correspondingly-shaped open-ended recess 32. The wedge-shaped member is mounted so as to project from a flanged base plate secured to the standing pillar or the door pillar.
