Abstract

297,997. Goddard, E. A. Nov. 8, 1927. Door stops. - A trolly on trackway 2 for supporting a sliding door or like member 6 is formed with a buffer stop 4 at its dead end so as to engage the edge of the door at the end of its sliding movement and thus relieve the trolly of shock. As shown, the stop 4 is formed as part of a housing 1 to receive the end of the trackway 2, a plate 3 for attachment bolts being provided. The face of the stop may be padded with rubber or may house a spring. The door 6 contacts with the buffer 4 before the runner 7 reaches the end of the trackway.
