Abstract

354,600. Trunks. HOFBAUER, H., 41, Karlstrasse, Munich, Germany. Sept. 24, 1930, No. 28532. [Class 18.] The meeting edges of the body and lid of a trunk for use on a motor car are fitted with rabbet rails 1, 2, formed with flanges 3, 4, enclosing between them, and the flanges 3 engaging, indiarubber tubes 5 or other resilient packing means. The flanges are disposed so as to provide an inwardly and outwardly flush closure.
